Appendix D. DBA Web Resources
DBAs are not alone in the Internet-connected world. With the advent of the World Wide Web, DBAs have many online resources at their disposal. By virtue of being Internet-connected, a DBA has access to the vast knowledge and experience of his peers. However, to take advantage of these online resources, the DBA has to know that the resources exist, how to gain access to them, and where to find them. This appendix will discuss several of the Internet resources available to DBAs. Any DBA that does not take advantage of the Internet resources at his disposal is doing himself a disservice.
