Let’s create a Data Type Standards file for the model we created in the previous chapter, naming_standards_example.erwin. This file is available for download on www.erwin.com/datamodelingmadesimple. Open this model and select Tools|Standards|Datatype Standards from the Main Menu. The Datatype Standards Editor appears, as shown in Figure 13.1. Note that data type standards functionality is not available in the Community Edition. You’ll need to upgrade to the Standard or Workgroup Edition. There is a time-limited trial of the Standard Edition available on the erwin.com website if you’d like to try this feature.
