Abstract
The data vault system of business intelligence (BI) provides implementation guidelines, rules, and recommendations as standards. As noted in previous sections of this chapter, well-defined standards and patterns are the key to success of agile, Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), Six Sigma, and total quality management (TQM) principles.
