Darkanoid: The Continuing Saga

One might argue that Darkanoid was started a bit too early in the last chapter since you had not learned about the powerful new commands available for doing sprite animation. I think it’s a far better argument to say that you could have written a complete game just after reading the first ten chapters, even though we haven’t covered sound or input yet. Nevertheless, work continues on the Darkanoid game, and I think you will like the new version presented in this chapter.

Darkanoid will eventually be a complete game with a lot of animation and collision testing and sound effects. But I don’t want to take it too fast too soon. So, let’s take a look at the next version of the game that benefits from the new information ...
