Part 1. D3.js fundamentals

The first three chapters introduce you to the fundamental aspects of D3 and get you started with creating graphical elements in SVG using data. Chapter 1 lays out how D3 relates to the DOM, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and provides a few examples of how to use D3 to create elements on a web page. Chapter 2 focuses on loading, measuring, processing, and changing your data in preparation for data visualization using the various functions D3 includes for data manipulation.
