Episode 9. Using Proper English and Grammar Can Only Hurt Your Career

So, like, um, I was gonna write a summary for this vid the way I normally do, you know? But then I was like, why should I, like, do that? I should write the way I talk, in which case I should totally stop using commas because it’s not like I use commas when I talk I mean seriously I’ve never said “Hey comma Joe how’s it going today comma buddy question mark?”

Whether you know it or not, the way you talk says a lot about you. If you know your customers well and feel like you can relate to them better by speaking casually, then that might work very well. If you don’t know them, though, you run the risk of looking unprofessional if you’re too conversational.
