Conclusions

What is Big Data? How and why are retail supply chain member firms using it? And what are the results those firms are achieving from Big Data use? This study sponsored by the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) is a first attempt to answer these questions in a focused context and provide unique insights that pertain to retail supply chains.

Although our analyses provides some long-needed answers, we feel that they raise many more questions.
