Chapter 3. Transitions
Changes that occur by transforming elements happen instantly. That’s not very realistic. In the real world, changes occur over some duration of time, which is where transitions come in.
Transitions define how the changes we apply to elements occur over time. Through transitions, you can control the duration of the change and how the change accelerates and decelerates. You can choose to have the change occur faster at the start and slower at the end. You can choose the reverse and have the change start slower and end faster. You can choose other combinations of acceleration and deceleration.
