There are many predefined functions in Crystal Reports. Some of the more common functions are defined in this section.

Date and Time Functions

Date functions allow you to convert numbers to dates and convert dates to numbers. Some functions have arguments that allow you to format the field as desired.

CurrentDate

Returns the print date of the report.

The CurrentDate function can be used in Basic or Crystal syntax.

Example:

CurrentDate

Returns:

6/30/2011

CurrentTime

Returns the print time of the report.

The CurrentTime function can be used in Basic or Crystal syntax.

Example:

CurrentTime

Returns:

11:39:18

CurrentDateTime

Returns the current print date and time of the report.
