ISM sees an increasingly important role for e-marketing as a set of tools that will help to segment, attract, and keep customers satisfied (the artistic side), while simultaneously offering a way for sellers to monitor customer behavior and satisfy customer needs (the scientific side). While technology has dramatically altered the way we conduct business today, the basic ideas and premises for marketing remain unaltered.
