Systems Administration

In most companies, a Systems Administrator is required to manage the CRM system. The responsibilities of the Systems Administrator include:

  • Making sure that the systems data is kept up-to-date (timely and relevant).

  • Backing up the system files and data on a regular basis.

  • Providing new users with an ID and initial password.

  • Making changes to screens and pull-down menus.

  • Delivering new software releases and updates to the users.

  • Creating and/or reporting on system usage statistic (e.g., how many uploads/downloads/synchronizations are being made, how often, and with what success ratio).

  • Reporting on any problems that may be occurring with the system.

  • Writing new systems reports and implementing other technically related systems ...
