Step 9: Administrate the System

One person/department must be held responsible for overseeing the welfare of the CRM system. This person/department must include an information “gate keeper,” who is responsible for ensuring that the information is timely, relevant, easy to access, and is positively impacting users' decision-making needs.

It is a strong disincentive for system use, to be out in the field and using your CRM system only to find out-of-date or incorrect data. Be disciplined and pay careful attention to information and systems details.
