Training is a multistep process that should include: demonstrating to users how to access and utilize needed information, ensuring that users are provided with documentation which is understandable and frequently updated, offering online tutorials which can be customized for each user, providing a telephone help line to stand by your user, and training the “trainers” to ensure that new users can be up and running quickly on the system. In many cases, the use of Web-based training will help to increase training effectiveness while reducing cost.
