A typical review consisting of steps one through seven can generally be completed over an eight to 12 week period dependent upon the complexity of the existing processes and availability of process owners, customer-interfacing personnel, and customers. Time to complete the steps is important, so be careful not to rush through this procedure. A CRM system implementation in which the CRM technology is designed around and driven by carefully considered business processes, and is more likely to be successful than an implementation that neglects the business process evaluation.
