Context matters, and the external environment may influence what people look for and admire in a leader at any given moment or in any specific organization or location. Not that any shifting winds will push people away from seeking leaders who are at their core honest, forward-looking, inspiring, and competent. Over time and across organizations, these four qualities remain the prerequisites to developing yourself as an all-around leader.
