Our own credibility would be in doubt if we didn't right up front make two acknowledgments: we couldn't have done this alone, and if there are any errors or shortcomings in the manuscript they are our responsibility.
This edition was nearly thirty years in the making, considering that it really first began as the second chapter of our first book, The Leadership Challenge.
