Chapter 16. Conclusion

Phew! As you may have noticed, there aren’t too many pages left to go. That can only mean one thing. You are reaching the end of this book. In the last many chapters we have looked at several animation-related topics together, and we’ve covered a lot of ground:

My goal in writing this book was to help you learn enough about web animations to be effective in bringing your UIs to life. To help you achieve that, we started with the basics of using CSS animations and CSS transitions, and then we made things a bit more interesting by throwing some JavaScript techniques into the mix. Those three ingredients made up the entirety of the important concepts you learned and had to remember. Everything else we looked at just combined these three ingredients into interesting combinations. We looked at a bunch of examples, figured out exactly how they work, and then built upon our knowledge with something a little cooler and a little bit more complex in the next chapter. Hopefully those examples taught you something new and inspired you with ideas on how you can apply them for your own projects.
