Combining nCloth, nParticles, and Fluid Effects to Create Complex Destruction

Although we’ve examined each visual effects system in Maya by itself, it’s important to remember that you can combine the systems to create more complex results. For example, the destruction of a building or similar structure may involve many different phenomena, including fire, smoke, dust, and debris. As such, you can combine nDynamic and Fluid Effects systems in a scene to create a single visual effects event. In addition, you can use the Create Shatter tool, to “pre-destroy” a reference model.
