Audio Editing

Because video is such a visual medium, it can be easy to neglect the audio. But especially when we're dealing with instructional video, sound can be really important and worth the effort it takes to do well.

In this chapter we'll expand on the editing process to include specific issues about editing sound. In the last chapter, we showed how the editor will often edit the video clips to obtain a coherent audio narration, whether recorded by the camera in the shoot or added later as a voice-over track. So we won't go over that content again here.
