Summary

In this chapter, we learned that we need to create an LOV when the user is prompted to select one or more values for a specific dimension or attribute. Then we learned how to create different types of LOVs such as LOVs based on dimensions, static LOVs, and LOVs based on custom SQL.

In the second part, we discussed navigation paths, formally known as hierarchies. We used navigation paths to define the drill path object either based on the hierarchical order of dimensions inside a folder (default navigation path) or based on a customized order specified by the Universe designer.
