Create the Workbook p. 16

In Mac OS, you can set preferences so new workbooks always appear in Normal view and the Formula bar appears automatically when you start Excel. Choose Preferences from the Excel menu and click View in the Preferences dialog that appears. In the Show area, turn on the Formula bar check box and choose Normal from the pop-up menu. Click OK to save your settings.
