Start or Open Excel p. 4
These instructions assume you have installed the entire Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook (or Entourage). If you have installed just Excel on your computer, consult the manual that came with it for instructions on how to start it.
If you have a version of Excel other than Excel 2003 for Windows or Excel 2004 for Mac OS, you might have to follow a different procedure for starting Excel. Check the documentation that came with your version of Excel to learn how to start it.
Chances are, your Start menu won't look exactly like mine. But if you follow the instructions, you should be able to find and start Excel using your Start menu.
