Start or Open Excel
In Windows, you start a program. In Mac OS, you open a program. To keep things simple, I'll use the word start for both platforms.
In Windows:
Click Start to display the Start menu.
Click All Programs.
Click Microsoft Office.
Excel starts and an untitled workbook window appears, as shown on page 5.
