Exit or Quit Excel
When you're finished using Excel, you should exit or quit it.
In Windows: Choose Exit from the File menu.
If a document with unsaved changes is open, Excel displays a dialog that gives you a chance to save the document. (I tell you how to save documents in Chapter 2.)
In Mac OS: Choose Quit Excel from the Excel menu.
