Soul is normally thought about from an individual point of view in the context of a person’s individual quest to develop his or her essential self. Some see creating soul as the goal of religion. Others see it as the result of spiritual growth. Plato defined soul as the source of all change and transformation. Plotinus defined it as the beginning of all things. The great psychologist Carl Jung defined soul as the source of our enthusiasm and inspiration.
