Chapter 2. Basic Animation Settings

The exercises in this chapter cover how to apply the default appearance animation presets to objects. These are the animations that cause objects to appear, disappear, fade in, and fade out. They may not be the most exciting animations, but they do give you a great place to start.

The exercises also cover how to change the basic options for the default presets. This includes changing how many times the animation plays, changing the duration, changing the events that prompt the animation, changing the speed of the animation, changing the color of objects, and creating slideshows that fade into view as well as fade out. Finally, you’ll learn how to save the custom preset settings you create.
