Summary

The applications in this chapter were designed to show you how to integrate two separate systems from two different companies using an XML Web Service. Instead of spending lots of time and money trying to integrate a distributor with all its customers, a web service provides an easy, non-intrusive way to exchange data. Adding the security token and SSL to encrypt data along the way makes this a great way to exchange even private financial data between trading partners.
