About the Author

Pam Strayer has been a documentary filmmaker since the mid-1980s and a writer/producer involved in creative projects on the digital frontier since 1992 when she was part of the creative team that made the million-selling CD-ROM From Alice to Ocean, a landmark Quicktime 1.0 project that marked the debut of video on computers. She has written numerous books for Apple and taught and lectured on multimedia widely from San Francisco to Provence. The recipient of fellowships from PBS, the American Film Institute, and London based Artec, she has also created interactive television projects (for Time Warner) and large scale, dynamic websites.
