Digital Glitches and Off-the-Wall Artworks with Satromizer

To create a one-of-a-kind digital artwork, with odd glitches and color artifacts, experiment with Satromizer (Ben Syverson; $2.99), an app named after Jon Satrom, a new media artist who often employs glitches in his artwork. To use Satromizer, follow these steps:

  1. After you open the app, tap the i icon.

  2. Next adjust the slider to the left or right, as shown in Figure 6-30, if you want the illusion of having some degree of control with the effects generated by Satromizer.

  3. Tap the broken file icon to load an image.

  4. Now drag your finger across the your photo to generate random effects.
