Once you have developed the fundamentals of your business, including:

  • making the products
  • devising your pricing formulas
  • branding yourself and products
  • deciding where and how you will sell
  • organising your visual merchandising

the next step is marketing. I know it might sound daunting, but you don’t need a marketing degree or years of experience. What you do need is a passion for your products and a commonsense plan.
