Tolerance Breeds Incompetence

When you’re being courted by service providers, set your expectations high and keep them there. Expect your service providers to give the same commitment and attention to detail you give to your prospects and existing clients.

Continued tolerance of vendor errors breeds incompetence. Mistakes should be a learning experience, and they should happen only once. Accept excuses only if the situation is remedied promptly and does not recur.
