It’s when it looks like everything is falling apart that you have to be strongest.

I was staying in a historic hotel in a city where I had a program later that evening. Unfortunately, the term “historic” meant that it was old and shopworn and about half a century out of date. That evening it not only rained—it poured. I learned that this hotel was not only dated; it also leaked! The following morning, I awoke to find two inches of water on the bathroom floor!

The water was steadily making its way to the bedroom. Because the hotel was sold out, my request to be moved to another room could not be met. I was quite upset…yet I tried to be positive.
