Creating Cost Managed Enterprises

Cost managed government organizations are a good thing. They drive continuous improvement through organization based, role based, or output based cost reviews. Cost managed government enterprises build from a base of cost managed organizations to create a large-scale, multiorganization, cost controlled entity: a government enterprise.

Unfortunately, writing about this concept will be hypothetical. None exists as far as I know. However, there is no reason they cannot exist with increased interest in cost managed organization development. It is perhaps only a matter of time. The purpose of this section will be to speculate about what the cost managed enterprise might look like.
