Plasticity is at the very core of human nature. As we come to the end of this book, let us review the Magic 7 of Plasticity, what they have meant in the development of the human race, and how they distinguish us from the other animals.
Purpose: Many animals collaborate, but none at the size of humans. Humans can collaborate in groups much larger than a family or a clan. The underlying logic of that collaboration can manifest itself in many forms. We may call it philosophy or religion, but they invariably make the individual perceive itself as just one element in a much bigger cause.
