Production People

As you’ve no doubt gathered, the television production process is not a simple one. On the contrary, it is a highly complicated and exacting profession that requires skilled creative and technical craftspeople.

The following pages contain a listing of the pro- fessionals who are involved in this process and a brief description of the role each plays. Since we have already discussed the four key creative “drivers” of the process—writers, producers, directors, and clients—we will now focus on those people who work in support functions.
