Organizational Control Focus

Organizational control systems are focused on both human resources and financial resources. All organizations have limited resources, and each area is competing for those resources. In this area, the following are focuses of control:

Feed forward control. Control that focuses on human, material, and financial resources flowing into the organization.

Concurrent control. Control that consists of monitoring ongoing employee activities to ensure their consistency in achieving goals and objectives with established standards of performance.

Feedback control. Control that is directed at the organization’s outputs focusing on the quality of the end product or service after the organization’s task is completed.
