Summary

The focus of this chapter was the corporate entrepreneurship process. First, the organizational barriers to corporate entrepreneurship were discussed. This was followed by a presentation of the four major structures commonly used: a section with the human resources department, a new products subsidiary, a new products division, and a diffusion of the concept and process throughout the entire organization.

Following a discussion of the evaluation criteria needed to ascertain the spirit of corporate entrepreneurship, the chapter concludes with the indicators of a corporate entrepreneurship climate.
