Using the Pan Tool

The Pan Tool is used to move a drawing within the drawing window.

To use the Pan Tool:

1.
If the Pan Tool isn't visible in the toolbox, click the small arrow at the bottom right of the Zoom Tool to open the flyout menu (see Figure 1.29).
2.
Click the Pan Tool icon (the open hand) to select it. The Pan Tool icon takes the place of the Zoom Tool in the toolbox. The pointer changes to a hand.
3.
Position the Pan Tool over the drawing.
4.
Left-click and drag in the desired direction (Figure 1.31). Drag up to move the drawing page up; drag down to move the page down.
