Control freaks are a strange mix of kindergarten teacher and drill sergeant. Working for a control freak is as close an experience as civilians get to being in boot camp. Boot camp, however, is normally over after a few weeks.

Control freaks watch every step you take, tell you how to take each step, and expect absolute obedience. Their micromanagement of you can feel quite oppressive and infantilizing. In part, they feel they know better than you how things should be done.
