Perspective Basics

To draw cars (even cartoon ones), it’s important to know the basic rules of perspective. These rules will help you create the illusion of depth and distance in your drawings, making them appear three-dimensional. The great thing about cartoons, though, is that you are allowed to bend (or even break) the rules to generate humor or create visual impact. Here I’ll cover the basics of two-point perspective so you can get started drawing cars at an angle, but for more information, see William F.
