10.1  INTRODUCTION

In the previous chapters we have studied the response of a system to step input, ramp input, etc. Since most of the input signals in practice are sinusoidal inputs, in this chapter; we will consider the steady state response of a system to a sinusoidal input test signal. The response will also be sinusoidal for a linear constant coefficient system once the transient die out. The output sinusoidal signal will also have the same frequency as the input signal.
