The example of designing and implementing the control system for assembling a simple object as part of a manufacturing process is presented in a step-by-step fashion. It is intended for use either as a fully worked out example or as a sequence of self-study exercises for which the example programs serve as solutions. This chapter used the group-priority software for building the example. chapter 16 shows a similar example using the TranRun4 software, and chapter 17 describes a Java version with TranRunJ.
