Managing the Release Process

There are many things that must be done in a development project before it’s possible to create a release. In this chapter, you will look at the logistics involved in planning for a release and how you can use TFS to make it easier to follow the process. By using work item tracking in TFS you get another benefit: a lot of data gets captured about the work you do, which you can use to monitor how well the work is progressing (and the process is working).

Since this book is about Continuous Delivery, we want to show how you can get to a position where you can deliver software more frequently to your customers ...
