What About Enterprise Services?
Abstract
In this chapter, we provide an overview of the concept of enterprise services within Continuous Architecture. We start by defining the concept of an enterprise service and compare it to service-oriented architecture and Platform as a Service concepts. We put forward recommendations on how to implement enterprise services from a technology, people, and process perspective. We particularly emphasize the concept of product management, which is a key enabler.
