When software developers want to learn a new coding language, they read a book that outlines the rules for code, they apply the rules, and the code works. There is a temptation to think that content strategy works the same way. Read up on it, follow the rules, and it works. Yet translating code from one language to another is far more predictable than translating content from one language to another.
