9.3. What to Assess

A standard set of audit criteria includes these attributes:

  • Content is relevant
  • Content is current
  • Content is accurate
  • Content is engaging
  • Content is easy-to-read/scan
  • Content is audience-appropriate
  • Content is consistent
  • Content communicates key messaging
  • Content facilitates key user activities
  • Content has sufficient breadth and depth
  • Content is appropriately formatted
