Absolute Poverty: Subsistence below minimum, socially acceptable living conditions, usually established based on nutritional requirements and other essential goods.

Basic Needs: A term used by the International Labor Organization to describe the basic goods and services (food, shelter, clothing, sanitation, education, etc.) necessary for a minimum standard of living.

Balance of Payment: A statement of the transactions of a country with foreign countries and international institutions.
