Chapter 25. Listening to Digital Music: MP3 Players

MP3 players are a new way to listen to music. Basically, MP3 files are digital audio files that can be created on your computer’s hard disk by either copying from a commercial CD or downloading from the Internet. Once you have the file on disk, you can play it back using a software program known as a jukebox, or you can use the jukebox to transfer the file from your computer to a portable MP3 player.

The jukeboxes allow you to create your own playlists and burn your own CDs with selections of music from a variety of sources.
