STEREO MULTIPLEX MODULATION SIGNAL

The (L+R) and (LR) signals are both sent as part of the modulation signal which frequency modulates the main (radio frequency) carrier. As far as the main carrier of the FM signal is concerned there is only one composite modulating signal, all of whose components modulate the carrier. The composition of this modulation signal includes the subcarrier, (L+R) signal, (LR) signal, and certain other components within this overall modulating signal.
