Alignment
Refers to the coordination of objectives, content, learning activities, and assessments.
Authentic assessment
Assessment that models a real-world environment or reality-based application of concepts. For example, if an assessment is based on demonstrating the correct structure of a paragraph, writing a paragraph would be an authentic assessment. Answering multiple-choice questions about the correct structure of a paragraph would not be considered an authentic assessment.
